ADRENAL STRESS TEST
The adrenal glands secrete steroid hormones in a cycle with the highest value in the morning, and the lowest value at night. An abnormal 24 hour adrenal rhythm can influence many functions of the body. The 4 vial test will reflect the proper cortisol response by your adrenal glands throughout the day. This panel also measures insulin (fasting and postprandial) secretory IgA (evaluates mucosal immunity), and gliadin antibodies (detection of grain intolerance) . The ASI is typically ordered for individuals that suffer from chronic stress, fatigue and low vitality, muscle and joint pain, hypoglycemia, migraines, insomnia, low libido, poor memory, low body temperature.
ASI: $150 (added to consult fee)
Consultations and Testing:
HAIR MINERAL ANALYSIS
This is a valuable screening tool which measures the mineral content of your hair, as well as the presence of heavy metals. Mineral imbalances as revealed by hair analysis frequently lead to metabolic dysfunctions before any symptoms manifest. Hair Mineral Analysis is a metabolic blueprint which allows our nutritionist to design a program including dietary and lifestyle recommendations.
Lab Report and Consultation $195.00
COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION OF BLOOD TESTS
Your blood tests are evaluated using "functional" values rather than the broad ranges currently utilized. Functional values focus on physiology rather than pathology. In other words, deviation from a "narrower" healthy range can help determine early stages of physiological imbalances.
Evaluation of blood test included in consultation fee
By taking a more functional or "holistic" approach to determining root cause of symptoms, clients experience a more optimal level of health. Symptoms of dysfunction include: fatigue, weight gain/loss, headaches, digestive and bowel disorders, elevated blood pressure/cholesterol, hypoglycemia/hyperglycemia, insomnia, PMS, hot flashes, immune disorders, chronic skin conditions, memory and attention disorders.
Whether your goal includes weight loss, boosting energy and vitality, finding more restful sleep, or improved digestion, an individualized dietary and lifestyle program will be developed for you. PERI- AND POSTMENOPAUSE HORMONE PANELS
These salivary panels may be helpful in evaluating a hormonal imbalance that could be the cause of hot flashes, insomnia, depression, anxiety, fatigue, changes in menstrual cycle, low libido, difficulty concentration or memory loss, bone loss, loss of muscle mass, and weight gain.
The Perimenopause Panel involves 2 saliva tests collected approximately 2 weeks apart and is the preferred test for women experiencing early signs of menopause such as a change in their cycle. The Postmenopause Panel involves a single saliva collection. Both tests assess three forms of estrogen: estrone (E1), estradiol (E2), and estriol (E3), as well as progesterone, testosterone, and DHEA. The expanded Postmenopause Test also includes follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) which are part of the feedback loop between the ovaries, adrenals, and pituitary gland.
Cost varies depending on test panel(s) ordered.
